Havarti Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 large eggs or 3 eggs and 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
  • 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 oz. sliced smoked salmon or lox, cut into strips
  • 4 large croissants or bagel square bread, split in half lengthwise, toasted if desired
  • 4 slices Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Havarti Cheese, cut diagonally in half

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Beat together eggs, salt, dill weed and pepper. Stir in salmon; add to skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, until eggs are soft-set, about 3 minutes.
  2. Spoon mixture onto bottoms of croissants; top with cheese. Close sandwiches with tops of croissants.
