Creamy Sargento® Havarti Cheese, basil pesto with a spicy chili kick and marinated artichokes take this grilled cheese to the next level. 

Ingredients
  • 4 slices Italian bread
  • 2 tbsp. basil pesto
  • 1/4 tsp. chili flakes, divided
  • 2 slices Sargento® Sliced Havarti Cheese
  • 1 jar (6 oz.) marinated artichokes, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup packed baby spinach leaves
  • 2 tbsp. butter
Directions
  1. Spread 2 slices of bread with pesto. Sprinkle each slice of bread with 1/8 tsp. chili flakes. Layer cheese, artichokes and spinach leaves over top; cap with remaining bread.
  2. Spread 2 slices of bread with pesto and sprinkle with chili flakes. Layer cheese, artichokes and spinach leaves over top; cap with remaining bread. Tip: These sandwiches are also delicious made with kale or arugula.
