This twist on grilled cheese is bursting with melted cheese, zesty mustard and tangy red pepper jelly. It’s a comforting meatless sandwich for lunch or dinner enjoyed on its own or with a leafy green salad on the side.
4 slices ciabatta bread
4 tsp Dijon mustard
6 slices Sargento® 2 Cheese Sharp Cheddar Jack
2 tbsp red pepper jelly
3 tbsp butter
Spread 2 slices bread with Dijon mustard; divide cheese between bread. Spread remaining bread with red pepper jelly; cap sandwiches.
Add half of the butter to large skillet set over medium heat, swirling to melt butter. Cook sandwiches, turning once and adding remaining butter, for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden and cheese has melted.
