Recreate the flavors of your favorite smokehouse barbecue joint in this easy-to-make saucy pulled pork sandwich topped with Sargento® Smokehouse Cheddar™.

Ingredients
  • 2 tsp. olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 lb. prepared pulled pork
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 kaiser buns, split, lightly toasted
  • 2 slices Sargento® Smokehouse Cheddar™ Cheese
Directions
  1. Heat oil in skillet set over medium heat; cook onion, celery, garlic and chili powder for about 5 minutes or until vegetables are softened.
  2. Add pulled pork, tomatoes, barbecue sauce and Worcestershire sauce to skillet; simmer, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.
  3. Spoon mixture over bottoms of kaiser buns; top each with a slice of cheese. Cap with tops of buns.
